Plane Ride

Come and discover the North Shore with a plane ride!

Escoumins Aerodrome (CA-0720)

Our airfield was built for commercial use in order to offer sightseeing flights in the region, it is perfectly adapted to our type of operation and we have the ideal aircraft to operate on this type of runway.

We are happy to welcome aviation enthusiasts like us and to share our facilities with the pilot community. Pilots wishing to land there are responsible for checking the conditions beforehand and assessing the risks themselves. As our runway is private, we do not transmit NOTAM or other information to NAVCAN. To ensure that our facilities are available for your scheduled visit, we ask that you please contact us at 581-235-5235.

We use the airfield for our tourist flights more intensively at the end of the day, from 5pm until sunset. We ask pilots wishing to visit us to avoid planning your arrival or departure at the end of the day.

We recommend our runway to intermediate and advanced pilots with light aircraft with 4 seats or less. Conventional trainers are recommended, although several tricycle trainers have visited us without any problems. A safe attitude is required from all pilots visiting us both in flight within a 5 minute radius and on the moving air.

There is no landing fee and a limited amount of anchors are available free of charge.

Little trick for tricycle trains

  • Practice the soft take-off and landing procedure

  • Do not stand still on the sandy portions of the movement area, move to a grassy area to come to a stop.

Have a good flight!
